

The Afena Scholarship is a key component of our Social Economic Development strategy and specifically seeks to contribute to addressing the skills shortage in South Africa. The Scholarship takes guidance from the recognition that the shortage of suitably skilled labour is a major constraint to economic growth and development in South Africa.
The Afena Scholarship specifically seeks to fund currently disadvantaged black tertiary students who show academic excellence and leadership in these areas of study.
